This year we visited four towers: Our day started in Brandon, a nice six up rather a lot of stairs! We went on to Watton where Amanda’s mum served us all with very welcome hot drinks. Watton was formerly the home tower of two of the people on this outing so pictures and notices on the boards were all scrutinised! The ringing room was cosy and some good ringing was produced on these lovely bells. We had lunch at The Willow House in Watton where fabulous food was served. Reymerston were a ground floor ring with lots of interest inside the church for those not ringing. Fordham was our only eight bell tower of the day. It was a bit more of a challenge than the other towers, but worth the visit. The interesting painting in the church gave the non-ringers in the group plenty to look at. The day was rounded off with a curry at the Riceboat. All in all a very well organised and great day. This group photo was taken at Watton Church, Norfolk.
